Lotto thoughts

Just noticed earlier tonight that there was no winner of LP1 or LP2. I don't play very often but of recent late I have noticed that there is a lack of LP1 and LP2 winners. I am not referring to the main draw as that seems to be designed to roll over until Bank Holidays etc.

I have also just looked at the lotto site to see when last someone won LP1 or LP2 and it would appear to be back in January 21st 2015 (19 draws ago)

Does this seem like a serious lack of winners. I remember a time when there would be LP1 and LP2 winners every other week.

They got rid of Winning Streak because the program was giving out too much money presumably. I guess this is going to be the tone going forward with the new owners now.

I suspect they will add numbers too.

I reckon they record 5 draws and the air the one that gives the least payouts

The Lotto is outdated. They should have a 'Water meter lotto'. The house hold which used the most water in the country that week gets 2 weeks free water.

Casanova was ran out of France after he invented the first state lottery and fixed it.
Think of me as your out of sync drunk friend with useless facts.

Apparently a flea in America won the state lotto and bought a big fcuk off dog in Malibu.

Presumably not many, relative to the odds, do the Plus as would do the regular lotto?

My dad was one number off winning the lotto this year; his prize? €2,000 when the jackpot was €2m. Gut-wrenching :(

    I suppose it's good thing that I don't know what LP1 or LP2 means.

I designed that Bank Holiday rollover system. Also for weekends when the clocks change. Jackpot will be won on Saturday, in the North East.

Never ceases to amaze me the number of people incapable of grasping simple statistics and instead insist that the game must be fixed in order to work the way it does.

Standard procedure when doing a quickpick to do the plus. €4 for two lines across three draws. The other option is €3 for two lines on one draw.

Relative to the odds you're as well spending the €4 or nothing at all.

Lotto Play 1 and Lotto Play 2. You decide whether you want to mix your numbers up from your lines and enter the numbers into a bonus draw every Sunday

I know. I find it funny that cigarettes are openly advertised still in Germany(like every bus stop has a cigarette ad on it). But yet an ads for lotto tickets, has warnings like Gambling is addictive or even better the odds of winning it. Like the odds of winning I think the Bavarian or Germany lottery according to the poster was like 1 in 120 million. With stats like that, the €20 Million jackpot doesnt seem so appealing.

    Lotto - Main Draw
    LP1 - Lotto Plus 1
    LP2 - Lotto Plus 2

Three draws on a Saturday and again on a Wednesday.

If you don't understand the rules ask any kid in a school uniform that the "newspapers" are paying to :eek:Shock Horror:eek: buy tickets

Some serious fix on the Lotto tonight. Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 all won. I can't remember that happening before. Also Lotto winning ticket was sold online, could be a first?

I was considering buying a ticket online today but didn't. It could have been a quick pick and I could have won it dammit! :(

Noticed that myself earlier. I'd say there would have been good odds on the bookies for predicting that outcome.

As for the online winner, definitely seen it before being listed on the website, though I'm unsure if it was the actual jackpot or one of the plus one or two draws.

It happened last Saturday night also. All three draws were won with LP2 being bought online.

There was so many people complaining about it being fixed that they allowed winners on all three draws last Saturday and again tonite to appease people. I'm
Convinced the whole thing is fixed.
