Skoda coolant....

Looking for some advice,on my 08 Skoda superb 2.0tdi.
I got the timing belt done last year in a v.w main dealer, but today I noticed a blueish build up in the expansion tank,I took it to a local mechanic who said that the wrong coolant is in the car causing a sludgy build up in the expansion tank.
He said the correct coolant should be pink.I'm guessing g12 coolant?
I checked the receipt for the timing belt and while the coolant was changed there is nothing about g12 coolant.

As a main dealer should they not have used the correct coolant? If they haven't can I challenge them on it?
Ill ring them tomorrow but want to have my ducks lined up before I do.....

    Thanks

I would be amazed if a main dealer hadn't used the correct coolant. G13 is the latest version, which is backwards compatible with G12,G12+ and G12++.
