I'm looking at changing my 04 golf and I know a guy selling one of these. I've not even looked around at other alternatives nor seen the car in the flesh but looking online they look a beautiful car. Anyone got one or have an opinion on them? He will also take my golf so I wouldn't have to look at selling it privately.

The Le Mans was a UK run out model based on the S Line spec but added unique Le Mans 19" alloy wheels, full leather heated seats and a few other things. Timing belt on the 2.0 TDi CR should be due at around the 100k miles mark. Make sure there is no problems with the flywheel as these tend to wear out upwards of 100k miles, usual sign is a vibration or shudder when the car is idling.

Took the car for a test drive this evening. Beautiful drive and in immaculate condition. Will be taking it all going well
