    Excellent find.
Now how do I get to be a Aviva Advantages member quickly?
name, address, email, phone no, policy number, dob & bank details (to process the payment)

First you'll have to get yourself a time machine: "This offer is only available to Aviva customers who are members of the Aviva Advantages Loyalty programme as at 22nd March 2015. "

Edit: I'd say it's legit, newsweaver are a company in Cork who create email newsletters and the like for other organisations, from the URL of this pdf it looks like newsweaver created this on behalf of Aviva. Don't come after me if it turns out to be bogus though!

I'll just borrow someone's policy! and be extra stingy and pick a long receipt off the supermarket floor
Hopefully this type of general cashback promotion will become more common here.

I'd imagine they might be curious if the recipient bank account name and address are completely different from those of the Aviva member details.

Was just coming to post the same.

Maximum you can get back is €30, so once you spend €100 on a single shop is all you can claim.

I would be a bit iffy if they are looking for your bank details, if it is legit why can't they send you a cheque, seems a lot of trouble for just 30%

A cheque costs money and postage. Bank transfers are free.
This type of cashback promotion using bank transfers is common in the UK.

It's an outlay of a 68c stamp to get €30

I say the reason for that is that the advantage section is run from stadium.aviva.ie, you need to register on that website and doesn't link to your policy details. Also some cases on company policies they don't have bank details as is paid via payroll.

I am a member(hence why i got the email!) I'm in, Big shop in Lidl or aldi and hopefully use a €10 off coupon they usually offer up to for easter.... Or maybe a 20 of 100 (i'm pushing it here right :D )

I'm with Aviva for a few things but not registered for their Advantages yet. So looks like I can't make use of it, it says 'customers who are members of Aviva Advantages as at March 22nd'.

I think i will pass.Considering i was a motor insurance customer of theirs for 15 years with no claims or points and they saw fit to ask me for €200 more than aig for the same policy.

OK...OK...OKAY. Address the Envelope to AVIVA, 68c Stamp, Put your BANK DETAILS in Envelope. Post it off. Mr Scumbag somewhere in the Post Office delivery chain. (You will never find out where exactly..!) opens hundreds of AVIVA envelopes as per advertisement, including yours. Grabs your details. seals envelope and pops it in the AVIVA post box for delivery.

Yep that sounds like a €30 money saving plan to me. Thanks Mate..!

Well I am passing as it just doesn't fit well with me. Much as I would love to get €30 back I simply am not giving someone my name, address, email, dob, policy number, bank account including IBAN and Swift code!!! Far too much info required!!

What a cunning masterplan by those master criminals in the post office! You do realise that giving someone your bank details only allows them to lodge money to it, not withdraw from it?

Unless they have your name, address and DOB to go with it.

Also, I've a phone call for you here from Microsoft, something about a problem with your PC? You'll probably want to take it.

Go an email about the below.
Does this sound dodge to anyone, or is it just my cautious nature

Why would they require a bank account to pay it back to?

    Any body else get this?

    Anybody going to do this?
Dunno what to do, reading some of the posts has kinda put me off

Hi Albert - Yes, in order to redeem the offer the bank account details must be filled out on the claim form. Once processed, your data will be destroyed immediately.

Nothing so far, according to T&C's we should get paid within 28 days after the closing date of the 13th April, so still have about another 13 days left.

Email came from avivastadium@aviva.ie so I assume we could contact them to enquire if we don't get paid.
