Looking for musicians to start an alternative rock band in Dublin

    Hi everyone!

    I'm looking for musicians to start a new alternative/indie band in Dublin. I'm at my late 20s and I've been playing guitars for at least 10 years now. I've played moderate amount of gigs in local pubs/venues. I'm mainly looking for a drummer, a bass player, and vocals but other guitar players are also welcome. So anyone who is highly motivated to make some good music is welcome.

    Just to give you an idea, some of my musical influences are; Porcupine tree, Mew, Tool, A Perfect Circle, The Smiths, Mogwai, Katatonia, Opeth, Oceansize, Arctic Monkeys, The XX, Blonde Redhead, Sigur Ros, Bon Iver, Frou Frou, Jeff Buckley

    They are a bit diverse so I don't want to define any particular sound for the band. I'm sure we will pick our own sound on the way.

    I'm thinking we can first warm up with some covers and get to know each other. Then we can start jamming for original songs.
