Came across this site earlier SNIP Fake watch site
Copies of expensive watches, now I was never one for fakes but would one be worth a gamble at the money they're asking? Can't go off the pictures because they're probably of the real thing, what actually arrives in the post might be complete and utter junk, but I suppose there's also a chance it could be a very very good copy?

    What say ye :-)

    Nope - they're illegal fakes.

Actually, the board tends not to like these.....just sayin'.....

For a little bit more (well maybe double) you'd get a Steinhart - well worth the investment.

If price really is an issue try Parnis - they're cheap and cheerful.....but not fakes.

Keep your hair on, I was just looking for opinions or experiences on the quality of them, out of curiosity more than anything else.

Yep, 893 nailed it. OK pepe the prawn it's a subject that might be open to discussion on some levels, but trust me P, it quickly descends into anarchy, never mind copyright and intellectual purport issues. So for those reason not for this forum.

PS I'm with you on the Steinharts. Nice bits of kit. That's the thing P, for the same money or often less you can get the real deal in vintage or new from outfits like Steinhart.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
