Hi there, my heater stopped working last year and after hearing how much it would cost to replace the motor I toughed it out over the winter and survived without it. I want to fix it now and would like to get the part from a dismantlers. My question is: is the heater blower on a '06 Citroen C4 the same? I have sourced one those and could get it fairly cheaply but I need to make sure it will work.

    TIA

As long as you're sure its the motor and not the reostat, and that the person with the motor would take it back, Id go for it.

What car do you have, out of interest?

Edit: I see now :o yeah, if it's just a motor unit, they might work. You have a good chance, as they're sister companies and share almost everything.

Thanks Renegade Mechanic. I'm sure the part could be returned, but I was hoping to get a "yes, that'll definitely work!" answer to avoid possibly maybe having to return it. It seems to be a tricky enough job to do so any bumps along the way I hope to avoid :-)

Unfortunately, I don't know for definite. But your chances are at least higher on it. Safest bet would be to hold out for a matching model but I know first hand how long that can take.
