Also signed up, does anyone know if racers who are not currently students will have access to the shower facilities in the sports centre afterwards? Thanks

Hadn't done this race before and not sure I'd do it again - not a route-map to be had on the day and no one seemed to know where the start line was! No signs for it, no one with decent directions beyond a vague 'near the creche', which when I went over to the creche - the start hadn't been set up yet so I was none the wiser.

Had known from the website that there was a bit of repetition, (although I didn't as much as there was on the day) which given the size of UCD campus was a bit surprising and disappointing. That might not have been up to the organisers of course and might have been due to restrictions laid down by the college.

The race itself was okay because I could just follow the pack but the confusion at the start and the amount of repetition and backtracking would put me off doing it again next year.

Personally, I like this race - have done it a few times and always think it's well organised and the course is decent and pretty flat..........I like the 2-lap style as the few twists and turns keep it interesting but there is loads of good running on it......and from registration to number-pickup and the cuppa/sanbos/bars after in nice surroundings, the students do a good job putting it on.......the weather is always nice too, even though the wind in sections made it a little tough (but that's nothing to do with the organisers :D )......hope to see it on the calendar next year
