camping locations??

    Hello all,

    Looking for some tenting locations around carlow, kilkenny or north waterford area. Just going to be myself the missus and our daughter and planning on one night.

    We're looking for somewhere beside a decent river for fishing purposes, and a woods.
    Preferably with fairly easy access for short legs!
    And near enough a road to park up the car.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks Pat. Heard of Portlaw but never been there. Has anyone camped in there before? I'm hesitant due to the fact that the woods are part of The giant 'Downton Abbey' house there.
