    Question I have a dell studio xps laptop with a hard drive failure could I use one of these in ? It's nearly 6 years old.

    Just checked my receipt from dell its an Studio XPS 17(N00XL703) would that be compatible ?

    Can't scan laptop is knacked HDD failure will only boot in repair mode and just keeps cycling in repair mode.

    Get the 250gb ssd and buy a 1tb portable hard drive for saving all your files too.

    1tb portable hard drive is less then 70 quid.

    Of course. Any sata based laptop will support an ssd. You will love it. Have been using ssds for about 6 years and would never go back
