Hi am looking for a 13" laptop with good battery life and HDMI cable access. I heard the HP spectre was a good one. Any ideas? Thanks.

    What's your budget?

Well I have a MacBook Pro 13" but to be honest I hate it so am looking for something same size, good battery life, similar spec. but not Apple. I just can't get the hang of the MacBook Pro! I'm sure I'm the exception to this.

You do know you can probably put Windows on it? (Since Apple moved to using Intel CPUs)

Yea I do need Windows but it's not so much that as I can't get my head around the workings of the Mac. It's not as user friendly as other models. Last resort was trying to scan docs today. Found how to do it eventually but now I can't find the docs I scanned :) ........... so giving up!! Buying something else.

If you (get someone to) install Windows on it, it will literally be the same as any 13" laptop except you don't have to spend a grand.

Also if you post the way you scanned the documents in the Mac forum http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=108
they can explain how / where they went.
