Combi drill for this price!

I tried ordering this drill on amazon but seems they dont send to ireland so wanting to know does anyone know of a similar drill or same one here in ireland where i can buy. Maybe even is there any stores selling a better quality dewalt drill for same money in euros.

You can get stuff delivered to a depot in NI and they then ship it to a locker near you where you pick it up. Costs €3.95 each time you use it.

That would be cheaper than the amazon one when you factor in exchange rate.

They aren't a bad drill, have the older model still going strong. Was stuck last night without my good SDS drill and it has no problem drilling concrete with the hammer action.

Whats the difference between the one in OP and this below to apart from the extra letter at the end of the b&q drill. Is it an upgrade or same drill.

Is there a local Toolline near you or a builders merchants?

My brother bought that drill from a builders merchants in Kerry last year for €180 with a single 4.0 amh battery.Much better value than the 1.3amh and it literally will last days without charging and he works as a carpenter

It only came with the one battery but it was fantastic value.

Yep i bought a Hitachi 18v with two 1.5amh off screwfix.ie last september and cant fault it.
They have the 2.5ah version for €165

And they also have the Dewalt with two 1.3ah batteries for €166 .If i was you though i'd go with the Dewalt.

That 4ah is a single battery kit only. The others have a spare. Invaluable.

No it's not invaluable. I've used one ,the battery will last for about 3 days of heavy duty usage.

I'd go with 2 batteries. Either way you won't run out of power (1 big battery last forever, 2 batteries means 1 is on charge) but if you break a battery, or it dies after a few years of use, or you forget to charge one you have a spare. Lighter to use and cheaper too.

That 4a looks the ticket but only 1 battery

As for the 2 bat 1.3ah, is there much difference in the spec from the 1.5h drill?

No the drills should be identical.
