    Hi GUys

Im in the final stages of a house build and only reliase now i only have one tv point in the sitting room . I want to be able to use the magic eye and send the sky signal back to a splitter

I know how to set it up etc but my question is do i need a second tv in the sitting room to connect to the RF2 out ? or can i get the cable ran down the same tunnel and come out to a 2 socket wall plate (if this exists)

Electrician is now on site so this is the time to do it if someone could please tell me what i need ?

I understand every thing you said, bar the prospect of having two tvs in your sitting room. Wherever the skybox is going you'll prob need at least three cables. Two for your sky feeds and one for your return but I'd put in 4. Plus 2 double "tv" sockets/points/modules to connect those cables into. And they have to be suitable ones.

sorry - i meant two tv points

my question is can all these cables come into the same face plate or different ones ?

3 coaxial cables should be plenty, unless maybe you wanted to keep a separate feed for cable broadband (like UPC) to this TV point & even this could probably share 1 of the satellite feeds (though I've no idea if this is done).

Terrestrial TV & radio definitely shouldn't have a problem sharing a cable with satellite, & the available wallplates can separate the signals for the relevant equipment.

Get as many coax cables down as possible and a couple of cat5 or cat6 networking cables down also, will cost a few quid but well worth the money..

You will need 2 for sky plus/hd one for a terrestrial aerial and one to send back via a magic eye....so always good to have extras to future proof.
