    Well this is unfortunate....
    Cycling and thrush! !!!!
I didn't realise that this was a thing but recent experience and a bit of quick googling tells me that it is common.
Any of you girls any tips ? Is there such a thing any shorts with padding but with mesh to keep the temp low?
I've been doing the usual stuff....cotton clothes, showering immediately, washing gear, cutting out sugar and two courses of canestan pessary :(
Really don't want to quit cycling over this.
Will have to go to gp but she will most likely just give me something to clear it up now but I need prevention methods if any one has them :(

I haven't had that problem so far *touches all wood in the vicinity* on the bike. I cat imagine anything more uncomfortable. Maybe using canesten as a chamois cream when you go out and about? You need air down there. Sleeping commando helps, cotton knickers off the bike, no jeans or tights until it clears etc. you know yourself.
You can get cool chamois in the shorts, I accidentally got some meshed Odlo ones in TK Maxx. Not the most comfortable for me personally but definitely cool.

Go to your GP, they have all the answers! A bit of a break, like a week or something to let it clear up?

Make sure your not suffering chronic dehydration.

If wearing cycling shorts, don't wear underwear. If using chamois cream, use one without menthol. Chamois Butt'r for Her is good. Take your shorts off as soon as you get home. GP advised me to use Silcock's base instead of shower gel/soap. Sensitive shower gel without perfume seems to be ok though.

Changing clothing detergent might also help, I only use wool detergent for my cycling clothes and underwear now. Avoid fabric softener.

    Hot baths aren't good either.
