see they are taking over wilsons auctions old premises - with the big demand for used cars in recent years i expected it to happen. however with sterling worth so much and more used cars being traded in against new cars - are used imports still going to be worth importing ? have they missed the boat ?

imagine it will provide good competition for the many small importers operating out of portacabins

charles hurst's foray into the south began 5 yrs ago when they took over audi centre in ballsbridge , but they are paying 350k per year in rent for an outdated showrooms with no w/ shops and forecourt so they have to keep their used cars at another site and workshops at another site - madness for a large and successful dealer group !

considering the quality of used stock that they have Id be very interested. A lot of high end vehicles in full / near full spec.

They might export back to UK some of the high end stuff here they accept for trade in, lots of the large petrol engined cars are going for fractions of the UK price for the same car.
