You going to a gig in Vicar St?

The 123, 13 & 40 all pick up in the city centre and stop pretty much outside the venue.

O'Connell St would be my choice. You can look up the route numbers I gave you on the Dublin bus website and it will tell you where the buses stop in and around the city.

You would walk it easily in 20-25 minutes, maybe even less. You will be fleeced for a taxi.

The buses are really not complicated and the drivers will let you know where to get off, if you ask them. Ask for LIDL on Thomas Street. The Spar is a couple of doors up from there.

Just have confidence in yourself. You'll hopefully be starting a new job so maybe use this to build confidence in yourself before-hand.

The answers are ^^^ above; you just need to trust yourself. Maybe leave somewhat earlier than planned. Better to be in the area earlier, especially before an important event like your interview.

Is their a way for you to test the route before the day of your interview? You could use the buses then and if it doesn't go to plan, then so be it. Just go back to any starting point & try again? Far better for your confidence & your wallet.

Good Luck in your Interview though :)
