Hi all. Jus a quick question i was hoping somebody could answer. I was out from work sick for 2 weeks end of jan start of feb. My wages were short last week and when i queried it i was told that they were instructed by HR to deduct the 4 days i wasnt covered as they only cover the first 6 days illness and anything after has to be claim from SW. I never claimed any ilness benifit and was instructed to make a illness benifit claim for the 4 days . Can sombody tell me how i go about doing this? What forms do i need to fill in and sign

You need to get the form from your GP or hospital doctor.

First check that you qualify for IB to begin with.
