    I would be very grateful for the advice of fellow boards.ie users.

    A family member is in a very bad place right now, depression is taking over and this is going on for years. This has not responded to meds.

    She has seen many GPs who really can't give her the time she needs. Of course they are busy but she really needs someone who really cares and will help her.

    First and foremost could someone recommend (by PM) a very proactive GP in the Belfast area and then maybe a good psychiatrist or psychologist (for cbt)in that area too.

    She does not mind paying privately.
