    Hey all,

I am considering buying the new MacBook air 11 inch - this one, on their website for 1029. https://www.apple.com/ie/macbook-air/

Harvey Norman have an 11inch MacBook air for 929:

Can anyone tell me by reading the specs if this is definitely the same machine? If I am going to splash the cash I'd rather get the newest one, but looking to get it as cheap as possible.

Anyone know anywhere I could get it cheaper?

    All info appreciated

It's the old model. They were only refreshed a couple of weeks ago. Price went up as well.

Keep an eye on the Apple refurb store but the new models won't be on there for a while.

Is the model on the apple website itself also the old one, or is that the new one, just to be clear?

The one on Apple's site is the latest model. They no longer sell old one except on the refurb store.

Ah ok, excellent. I presume when that hits stores it'll be that same price, right?

Well, as I said, Apple put up their prices when they refreshed the MacBooks. So I’d imagine Harvey Norman’s prices will be same as Apple's: 1029 for the entry level Air.
