Hi, I have a bit of a problem. My construction project is due soon and I do not know the name of the roof I'm doing (Stupid i know) and either does my teacher. It's a very uncommon roof I think and I cannot find it online. If any of you know what it is called or a better place to post this thread the help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure how to upload pictures?

You aren't giving us anything to work with!

Did you look at the list here?:

I think if you put in spaces, you can post the url. See if it works.

Looks like a standard pitched roof to me except there's no ceiling joist .

perfect, so that's all I need to call it? (A few months into the project and not knowing what its called, let's hope that doesn't show in my result) Thanks for the help.

The name of the project isn't too important. Just call it something like ' scale model of a pitched roof'. All the marks will be in the quality of the scale and finish of the model and labelling. Also your folder should discuss a variety of roof types before going into detail on pitched roof construction - cut roof & truss roof etc.

My project is a section through two roofs, a cut roof and this roof. My problem is naming this roof in my portfolio, I have my portfolio nearly finished but have blank spaces everywhere I want to put the name of this roof. I just don't think it would come across too well if I didn't know what the roof I was doing is called.
