Moving to the Clontarf area in the next while and looking to play some club rugby for the 1st time next season.

Relative novice playing a bit of 7s with work just looking for a bit of advice as to whether its too late to start playing or would I be okay?

Nope, in Clontarf we have a div11 team purely setup for novices, first timers, guys learning new positions etc and we're always looking for new guys to welcome in. Season is pretty much finished now tho, but might be worth popping down some evening to see what the training is like. Training is Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm. Check out the Clontarf social rugby page on Facebook for more info

Yeah I figured that would be the case! Brilliant I'll look into ahead of the new season. Keen to take up some sort of team sport again thats not overly onerous.

Pre-season starts in August, but there will be tip rugby being played in St Annes park when the season ends. It's a good way to get used to handling the ball etc.
