Pay to park in Killarney on Sundays?

There used to be a sign in the car parks in town saying you have to pay Monday to Saturday. Last time I was there there was no mention of any exceptions for Sundays, so what's the deal?

It's free on Sundays.

As above. Completely free on Sundays. Also free between 6pm and 8am. And I think there are some mornings it's free until 11am but I'm not sure if that's 7 days or certain days.
