    Ms

I don,t own either but I have owned an Asus laptop and it was a great machine. Best laptop I ever had lasted a good 10 years. Very reliable and lovely to use. I would love to have another one but could not afford one at the moment. As for dell I would am not a fan of them at all. A family member had one and it was ok for a while but it was not too long before it was giving problems. Luckily they did not have to pay for it they got it free with a deal that Eircom were doing I think years back. Thats just my 2cents but maybe they are better know I still would not have one do.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

    Thanks for your reply

My current laptop is a ASUS too, it's over four years old and can't really fault it to much. I've never had a Dell laptop but have had a few desktops that were Dell's and they were always great too so kinda in between the two brands at the minute

    as per the Mod's post:

    Budget: €500-700

    Intended use: Microsoft Office, internet

Mobility: I work from home but sometimes I will travel with it. Have a bag for my current laptop so isn't really a factor

Warranty: Not overly important, I've being pretty lucky with things - never had to use a warranty so far and I'm pretty careful with stuff!!

What Operating System do you use? Current laptop is Windows 7

Hope that helps, any advice would be great.....
