Seal on a Ford Transit

I have a rear wheel drive 2005 Transit, the vehicle is a motorhome but the Transit essentials still apply. Last year while in France there was an issue where oil was leaking out on the inside of one of the back wheels. Turned out to be a seal thats between the wheel mount and the transmission arm from the rear differential. The leak was at the wheel, not the differential. Was a pain in the back side trying to get it sorted over there.

I'm taking the van to the continent again in the summer, and I want to have a spare seal on standby in case the same happens on the other side.

But I don't know what to refer to it as. Went to the local motor factors and he was looking up a load of parts on his computer and wasn't sure which it was. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what the proper name of this seal is?

    thanks a mil

I'd advise you to go to the main dealer for this, you are sure to have the correct seal and all you will need to order it is the reg.

It's a rear hub oil seal. Also make sure the breather on the axle is not blocked.
