Golf Club Membership

    Hi, used to regularly frequent the forum for great info but living abroad for last 3 years and lost touch. There used to be regular updates on membership offers from most clubs. From brief search of mega thread the practice seems to have ceased in 2012..any reason for this? Anyone point me in the right direction? Leinster area, I'm based in Leixlip/maynoth area at the minute, looking for under €1000,

    You should have no problem finding a club for that money. Moyvalley, Rathcore, Kilcock are all around the €850 mark. Millicent is around the €1000 mark I think. They are all decent courses and should be close enough to you. Check the websites or give them a ring.

    Corrstown..about 20 minutes from you is €100/month. I think they would let you in for €800 for the rest of the year..

    Good Club and good atmosphere around the place. 27 holes so no bother getting out in the evenings or weekends.

    Rathcore is probably one of the best courses in the area, I think the membership is 859 and if you pay up front it's 759. Pm me if you need any more information. Cheers

    Kilcock have a great deal, its 850 or they have a flexi Membership as well.

    If Saggart isn't too far away check out Slade Valley, sounds as ASBO that you are under 35 !!!! so they have great joining deals . Join a golf club on your own as then you will be forced to play & meet different members every time you play, it worked for me & I now have a new social network of friends.

    Delgany is a great course! Great set of members, very sociable and down to earth. 1500 there for the year, possibly including a bar levy?
