How are people so lazy

Just browsing around a few ads on carzone etc and some of them are very annoying.

There are a few private sellers and Lord God there is some laziness. Lots of private sellers have every picture upside down or sideways. Do they not even check their ad to see if it looks ok afterwards.

    Others have no description whatsoever.

Others have: "nice car" as the description and not another word.

Others have no pictures at all.

I personally would not even bother contacting a seller with an ad as above.

Pure and utter laziness. If they can't bother doing a half decent ad, God know what state the car is in.

I have actually noticed a few main dealers with lazy ads too including terrible pics I must dig them out..

Have to agree with you there, nothing more annoying than one crappy mobile phone pic of the outside of the car only showing one side, no interior pics and no idea if the rest of the car even exists... And then an equally lame description...

I understand your sentiment and agree but tbh someone can be a good car owner but just ****e at making adverts.

Dealers have no excuse, they should be great at both.

    Exactly.
God knows what state is the car, so unless you go there and see it, you won't find out.
It might be in disasterous state, but as well it might be perfectly spotless car.

Bad advert mean that person putting advert is bad at putting adverts - that's all. It doesn't say anything about the car.

I actually usually call poorly worded/edited/pictured ads first, as usually those sellers get less phone calls, and might be struggling to sell a car so might be willing to go down with a price.

One thing is definite - good ad doesn't mean good car, and bad ad doesn't mean bad car.

I hate that. I hate the arrogance. I can't help but automatically see the undertone that he's going to make an assumption of what you're like, based on your voice in call and base his price on that.
Grizzly old boy? Two grand there.
    High pitched girl? Three.
Sound dopey? Three and a half.

If it's the only one of it's kind in the world, I'll ignore it if I see "POA".

laziness in a car ad for me has to be:

Central Locking, CD Player, Immaculate condition, Electric Windows, ABS Brakes, Drivers Airbag, Alloy Wheels, Electric Mirrors, Immobiliser, Power Steering, Adjustable Steering Wheel, Armrest, Lumbar Support, Multiple Air Bags, Child Locks & Isofix, Lumbar Support, Colour Co-ordinated Bumpers, Side Impact Protection, Rear Wash Wipe, Space Saver Spare Wheel.

it's just a massive list of utter run of the mill ****e that they can copy and paste or box check into every single car advert they have that will make the average "at a glance" punter think the car is laden with extras, when it fact all it really says is that the car has four wheels and a ****ing seat. i would be seriously concerned if pretty much any car i ever viewed in the last decade didn't have at least 95% of that list.

when i'm browsing adverts i like to know specific model details, like if i'm an average man looking at two kinds of VW Golf, they both have all the automotive verbal diarrhoea listed above, but which one has climate control? which has bluetooth? parking sensors? even a tow bar? what genuine extras does one car have? is it too much to ask of professional car salesman to have an honest to God look at the specific vehicle they are selling, list it's merits over similar models and write an advert based on this.

Sure these lazy shytes can't even be bothered writing any description or posting a solitary picture. CAREFUL LADY DRIVER though so what more do you need to know?

But but but, they have 40 years experience.

Other phrase that piss me off are : " first to see will buy" and " priced for quick sale"

Sometimes it can be good if the seller is lazy. My buddy got a special limited edition s80 for less than a regular s80 since the owner didn't know what he was selling nor care. Another friend got a lovely high spec merc. The seller only knew it was a kompressor model.
