My seats are in need of a proper aul clean which I'll take on with the weekend
What's the best method or product for getting a good clean just Valerie's look?
    Cheers

I assume they are fabric seats yes?

If so this cleaner if by far the best I have used. Works best if you spray it on (diluted 1:10), scrub with a brush, then vacuum it out with a wet/dry vac. If you don't have access to a wet/dry vac then you can wipe the seats with clean microfibres instead. This will take more time and isn't quite as effective but should get the job done.

I don't have access to a wet vac but ill give the micro fibres ago, would this be an effective cleaner on the carpets too?

If both the seats and the carpets are really bad you might be better off hiring a carpet cleaner with an upholstery attachment. I've got them before from Wicklow hire, I think it costs €50 for the weekend including a bottle of shampoo.

Without a wet vac you would be a long time getting really dirty carpets clean with the microfibre method...

    As above.,
You really need a machine if they are Mank
I used this on very light colored seats and carpet before and found it super stuff. >> Surfex HD

How did you manage to get that into the car to do the seats??? :D

    Maybe he removed the seats?

Jesus, that's awkward though. How in god's name would it work. The George is a popular accessible option. Anyone here with a Tornador setup? Hovering over looking at something like that, but unsure if I could make good use of it.

The Rug Doctor machines have a hand attachment the exact same as on the Numatic (George) machines, so there's no problem doing a car interior with them.

As above, if the upholstery in a car is manky, hand cleaning just won't cut it.
    Machine ftw.

Sorry for jumping on this OP.

I've leather and Alcantara seats and what's the best to use on both. Ive been using a hoover on the Alcantara and a damp cloth & dry afterwords on the leather. I've no marks or stains yet but it will happen....

I bought a George. Cost me 260€ , best investment ever. Really is a great hoover, have done 3 cars no and all come up professionally cleaned.
