How old is the car? Is it still under BMW warranty? I'd imagine if it's still under BMW warranty then the only way to keep the warranty would be to get a dealer or a BMW approved retailer to do it. I cannot imagine it being cheap though. If not under warranty then I'd just get it remapped by a reputable mapper for alot less.

It’s a 2012, the BMW warranty is just about up. Was thinking of going for the BMW Performance Power Kit as I hear it’s very reliable, but if you know a reputable BMW remapper I will definitely look into it.

Martin in Autoremap.com is well regarded with remapping BMWs over on bmw-driver.net. BMW will charge you big money but will warrant it I'd imagine.
