I know. Most people want to upgrade their PC. Let me explain.
I have a desktop pc runnung Windows XP Professional and I've been trying to install an old iomega zip 100 drive. XP tells me there in an i/o error and will not reconise the zip disk inserted. The disk has college work that my daughter requires urgently (in the next month!). Because the zip drive is so old I was going to install Win95 or win98. Xp will not let me format the C:/ drive.
Any help would be appriciated
    Joe

are you sure that it isn't the disk itself isn't corrupted as they were never the most resilient?

I would try another disk and try to save to it

what connection is the zip drive, USB, Parallel or scsi?
