HI all Just wondering if someone can recommend a company to floor an attic and install a stira/ladder in the Laois area. There is approx 10-12 inches of fibre glass up there. Is it ok to cover with flooring?

Any carpenter or good handy man should be able to sort this out for you.

You don't want to compress the insulation, so you need to counter batten with timber or use the plastic feet to raise the new flooring up over the insulation.

Hi would you be able to tell me approx how much this cost?
I have a staighre already but looking to floor a small attic in a 2 bed terrace.
I have a guy coming to give a quote and I've no idea what i should expect it to be!
