I have a sky dish with just one wire going into the back of my sky box but I have bought a Saorview box which has a recording feature. The dish I have outside is a sky dish I just need someone to call out and add a second wire to the dish so I can record is it a big job?

Saorview doesn't use a satellite dish, it uses a tv aerial.

So it's a combi terrestrial/satellite receiver then, & it's replacing the Sky box?

Presumably it actually has twin satellite tuners? It can have a 'recording feature' with only a single satellite tuner.

And as already mentioned, you'll need an aerial for Saorview.

Sorry, yeah it's a combi terrestrial/satellite receiver and its a twin tuner.

Is the LNB ( piece on the arm sticking out of the sky dish ) a single or quad
does it have more than 1 input as at least 2 will be required
still a few sky dishes out there with only a single LNB

Well, the LNB was already mentioned. Anything else impacting on the job will be down to the layout & construction of your house, & the route you want the cable to take.
