Prolonging Modem Battery Life

    What's the best practice to make the battery life as long as possible.

    I'm talking about Huawei modems which the networks sell. Mine is a E586

    I'm using mine plugged into the mains all the time when using my desktop, is this good or should I unplug it when fully charged.

    I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'd run it as you have been, I wouldn't go unplugging it for no real reason.
