What's eircoms eVision service like? I've currently got my phone, broadband and TV with Sky for about 90 a month. It's only standard broadband though, about 10megs. Had an eircom guy call to the door today and I had been considering how to get fibre anyway, so let him pitch their bundle for the three. He was trying to get me to sign up (like I'm going to enter a contract for 3 services on the spot!) but I told him to call back tomorrow.

So what's eVision like? How does the box functionality compare to a Sky HD box? Channel selection? I don't watch much TV myself but would probably miss the likes of Sky Atlantic.

I dont have E-vision but I have heard a lot of negative stuff about the E-vision service in general.

I had a Eircom salesperson call to the door offering me a so called great deal on the broadband when I was actually better off with Sky Broadband.
