VTOS & Student Grant Query ?!?

    hi ,

    anyone have any knowledge about vtos and the student grant?
    i realise these can not be received together since 2010, however, me and my partner are both returning to education this coming september.

    my query is if one of us applied for the grant and the other applied for vtos, would the one on the vtos payment be able to apply for an increase adult dependent payment for the other, if the other was awarded the grant.?

    cant find any info online.. and really may be a deciding factor as to whether we can both return to college as we have two children also.

    any info greatly appreciated :)
