Hello everyone, couldn't see a non soccer related fantasy post on the first page so said I'd give something we're doing in the basketball forum a bit of promotion. Deadline is 4:15 so just doing it for any last minute additions.

March madness is a basketball competition held each March (obvs) for American colleges. 64 teams enter and its straight knockout until the champion is crowned. Each year CBS and the likes have competitions to see can anyone predict who wins each game. This has never been done in the history of the tournament and there's a $1million prize for doing so. With that in mind, fell free to take part and not be worried about getting everything wrong, it's happened me many times!

All the details are here, bit different to usual fantasy sports but a right challenge to even get the first round correct! PS, I'd pick Kentucky as national champion right away, they haven't lost all season.

Apologies if you read this expecting something about the fantasy EPL, I'm terrible at that so will never post advice for it :p

I've seen posts about this a good bit in the Fantasy forum on 2+2 most people seem to consider the $1 million as a bit scabby as the chances of hitting it are in the billions! They're obviously just too used to getting spoilt in their fantasy games I don't think anyone would have played a fantasy game there if the winner was getting a camera!

Its not really a Fantasy Sports game though more like like Sky's super 6 is it not?

Yeah I suppose it's not really in the same sort of fantasy realm as most of the stuff on here. I'm not really sure where you put it though, it's not exactly a gamblers game as the chancers of hitting it, as you said, are absolutely ridiculous and anyone who thinks they've a good change of getting it right really needs their head examined.

The start of the madness is a great 2 days of sport and a bracket makes it even more enjoyable.

Yeh its not really got a suitable home anywhere! Maybe we should have a sports predictions games no one is ever likely to win but have a really big prize forum!

Its like Talksport have the game where if you predict the scores of 10 Premier League games you win £1million they've been doing it for a couple of years and no one has got anywhere near doing it yet I did it a few times I do Super 6 but only because its nice and quick to do on the phone while waiting around for something else..

Still better than playing the lottery though!
