office desk for bedroom

    hi all,

    Ive been renting for years and moving between houses every few months due to work moving or location in general.

    One thing I have never had is a proper office desk for my bedroom for laptop and all the rest, have a proper office chair alright.

    The one thing is the desk needs to be collapsible for taking it around

    Anyone got any plans for such a desk ?

    Could go steel frame and timber top even ?

    I know plenty welders and fitters who can help with fabrication

    What about IKEA?
    What I did for a client who had a similar issue was cut the wooden desktop in two to make it portable.
    I re edged the cut and added a strapping piece underneath to screw it up tight and level

    “I can’t pay my staff or mortgage with instagram likes”.
