Having issues with Humax Freesat and Triax Tri Link.

I have had a Humax 1TB freesat box in the sittingroom and im using a triax tri link to allow the output from the triax scart to go via coax to other rooms in the house via an 8 way distribution amp in the attic (that has eye pass through).

Each of the other rooms has an eye so that the humax channel can be changed from those rooms via a spare humax remote.

This setup ran fine for about 6 months - it was solid with no problems.

Before christmas the triax started failing - if we powered on the humax from another room, the modular in the triax would flick on and off for a while and eventully stabilize and work fine... after a month or so. it just kept flicking the picture on and off and wouldnt stop.

Long story short... the triax was replaced under warranty, and since then we have replaced the triax tri link twice more under warranty. The latest one has worked fine for the past 6 weeks... but now that one is playing up by doing the same thing - modulator in it flicking on and off for the first 3 or 4 mins of first powering up the humax.

It seems according to reviews on amazon that this is an issue for humax owners who use the humax in conjunction with a tri link. The tri links built in modulator switches off when it detects no signal and the startup of the humax from standby seems to drive the tri link crazy after a while.

I need to sort this issue without spend my time shipping back tri links to the manufacturer constantly and my missus isnt too happy with me either!

Is there another type of unit that i can use to distribute the humax throughout the house that would also allow me to control the box from each room?

I am limited as i only have single coax to the three rooms i want to send the signal to.

All coax cable runs in the system are tested and are 100% with no shorts or issues.

Have had no problems with the triax tri-link however there are alternatives such as the Philiex omnilink

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philex-27872HS-Accessories-Omni-Link/dp/B004QZ17H0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426800148&sr=8-1&keywords=slx+omnilink[/UR

    or
    Labgear
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Labgear-MRX700-DigiLink-SCART-Converter/dp/B00LFMVLNW/ref=pd_sim_ce_23?ie=UTF8&refRID=1TVQ3S2R7W3EFWHYXCXZ

I have used the omnilink once in the past without problems...hope that helps.
