HBO are shooting the pilot for a new show, The Devil You Know (working title) set in New England around the Salem Witch Trials. Co-written by Orange Is The New Black creator Jenji Kohan, Bruce Miller, and Tracy Miller.

Pretty good cast on board too including Irish actor Damien Molony, Eddie Izzard, Zawe Ashton (Fresh Meat) and Karen Gillen.

It's one area of American history I don't think has ever been covered in any great depth on TV or at least not to the standards you'd expect from HBO. Hope it gets a full series.
