best travel luggage/backpack stores - dublin?

    hi i am going traveling and would like to find a good store that would have a good selection and good sales advice. Where are the best stores in ireland? I know of 53 degrees north and the great outdoors - are there others? snow and Ice I have heard of but never been to one - anyone got any info? or on any other good stores? thanks

    1. Base camp in Abbey street and the Outdoors adventure around the corner near Jervis centre.
    2. there is a high-end store in temple bar - used to be lowe-alpine, currently north face, could be Berghaus next, (who knows?). Seems to change brands every few years.
    3. Snow and ice in dundrum has a good selection but seems to be more for skiers and cyclists.

    Capel Camping on Capel Street has a lot of the same brands, etc. as the bigger stores... it's small, cramped, but the prices tend to be better and they will give you discounts.

    Snow And Rock often have brands not carried by other retailers in Dublin and while these are sometimes specialist and expensive I often find heavily discounted items in there. I recently got a pair of 5.10 Camp Four shoes in there at 50% off (a new line is coming out) and have picked up Mountain Equipment shells for (a lot) cheaper than I can get them elsewhere.
