i should also mention its for a stag.

We have been looking at: http://burrenwaymountainbiketours.com
and the green way in mayo.

Do any of you know of anywhere else that may be worth looking at maybe a bit more midlandish/easternish

Was gonna suggest Delphi but it's in Mayo and don't think you would have the right social scene for a stag.

Outdoors Ireland is based in several locations, to include Galway and Killarney, both of which would be reasonable stag destinations. http://www.outdoorsireland.com/henstag.php

    Yeah. Killarney.

Big stag destination plus has National Park, Killarney Lakes, Reeks, Mangertons etc.

And as was linked above, check out Outdoors Ireland, cater for everything, rock climbing, mountaineering, kayaking etc.

Killary adventure center, was at a stag there year ago did activities on Saturday we got a bus to take us to west port and had a ball. They did have an honesty bar in the center too so you could have a few drinks there or wander down to the local pub on the Friday night.

You could also go to Carlingfor good pubs and an adventure center gets lots of hens and stags
