    Hi guys,

I was toying with the idea of getting something like a DAS6 pro or the likes (over 800w) for my car this summer, but i also have a nasty scratch on the nearside rear quarter panel... would a DA be any use if i was to wet sand/ compound and polish to try get rid of it, or do you need rotary?

Very hard to say from the pictures - in the first pic it looks quite deep and I'd have thought you'd only be able to make it less obvious. But the other two pictures look like it would correct.

Either way, the DA will give the same results as a rotary; it will just take longer to get the results, but in a far safer way! ;)

Thanks Curran... Actually, you are the very man i need to be talking to... I was going to buy a DA from the UK as they are doing a group buy for the DAS6 on another well known UK detailing site (don't know am i allowed to advertise it here)... anyway, do you know of anywhere decent if i was to buy local rather than from the UK.. I don't fancy lashing over €200 to halfords for the meguiars da with no pads or anything when i can get a das6 pro and pads/ compound, polish for about €180 all in with shipping

    Cheers

    Dont know of anywhere local.

I know of somewhere that would love to have them in but the exchange rate is a killer and being sold for less in the UK than from the supplier
