    Hi all,

I am hoping to get some advice on the below.

If some payroll figures of the employees who left the company were found incorrect and as a result, they got underpaid during the year. what should the company do?

Should the payroll for the leavers be run again, resulting in contacting them for bank details for transferring the underpayment, issuing the amended P45 and filing amended P35 for the year ?

Has anybody experienced the above? what did you do for correction ?

    Regards,

Yes you should make the necessary corrections. Out of interest, how did you get the payroll wrong for multiple employees? Was it just the year in question? What about other years?

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply.
I joined the company last year and found out the issue when the reconciliation was done for the year.
I don't know about the previous years.
How can the correction to be made?

As you said, you'll have to make the necessary amendments to the P45s, P35 etc etc and make any underpayments to Revenue and staff

Is the gross pay right and the deductions wrong, or what?
