Checking Trivago website for hotel deals. I have used Booking.com and Hotels.com in the past (very happy with both). Our group are on a budget and I notice there are a few other hotels with better offers, e.g. otel.com and Travel Republic. Has anyone used them before? Would love to get some feedback. Thanks

We only book hotels with free cancellations now in case we change our minds or see better prices.
With trivago some of the partner sites dont allow free cancellations.
Otherwise most of them are fine.

trivago isn't actually a booking site, its a search engine and finds you the best price across a range of hotel sites.

and yes i have used otel.com often and they are really good. when you book on otel.com you get credits which you can use towards money off your next booking with them..similar to hotels.com but you don't have to book 10 trips

With otel.com they often have 7% off codes on facebook

Used AlphaRooms which is basically Travel Republic last year, lot of places way cheaper than Trivago found too.

Most of the trivago searches don't have free cancellations. Can be troublesome.
