Well, I got the email today saying that we'll be attested next Wednesday - happy days!

All the best to any/all others honored to join here - or anywhere else in the country.

And what a day to receive the news - Happy Paddy's Day!

It was Tuesday 10th of February, Janet. About five weeks ago.

Hopefully, you'll hear back from them yourself soon - all the best.

Attested with about 20 others tonight at Cathal Brugha.

Aside from the inevitable waiting, it was great to finally swear that oath and officially be part of the Defence Forces. Well done to all else in attendance and to any others awaiting their own day at barracks around the country.
