I bought one of those LG G2 phones for 210 dollars on offer on eBay.

I set up the APN ok but I'm losing connection intermittently to the Tesco phone however.

There also doesn't appear to be an option to turn off 4G... which I always found to be a battery drain:

Am just wondering if anyone else exexperienced similar problems and if they overcame them. I rooted an old S2 before and don't r w ally wana do it for this phone.

    Thanks!

Thanks, I had looked around but didn't spot anyone with the same problem.

The menu mentioned in that site looks useful:

(I just realised that I still can't post images here)

but there are a lot of options there, and like he guy that found them I wouldn't be too sure of be which to select. There's nothing about enabling 3g only or gsm connectivity issues In Europe.

I did now, I didn't see an option for 3g or anything about gsm network coverage

So in the end I noticed I had 3g in Spain (only 4g and edge in ireland). I'm not sure how I have what's displayed as '4g' when I didn't think Tesco do LTE.

Either way battery was about the same, roughly twice as good as the s4.

So the D800 At&t phone works great in Ireland. 150 now, probably the best 180 quid I ever spent
