Hope this thread is ok here, but I'm wondering can anyone tell me where I might get some custom lipo battery packs made up?
    Thanks in advance.

What have you in mind? Custom capacity, packaging or connectors?

Not in Ireland that I know of. There's a guy stateside (Google: Chris the battery guy) who does this sort of thing and comes highly recommended on the rc forums that I frequent.

One made to suit a tight space, I need a 7.4v lipo 20c+ 1000 mah+ and it needs to fit in a space 165x14x10 mm

Hmmm, that 14x10mm will take some fancy engineering work to make fit!:D

I was thinking of giving it a go myself with round cell lipos but the website I normally use for supplies only has 15c round cell, cells.

What is the load going to be on it?

Maybe a stack of 20 of these:

    Some craic soldering it though.

Probably needs 40 of them though, rather than 20.

2 sets of 20 paralleled. Both sets then in series.

Then a 3 wire balance lead. Practicality gone. And size limit.

Cheers :) but with 20 or 40 of them I'd say the pack will be 75% solder and wiring

I tried the battery space with a 160 mm length of M12 Hilti bolt and it fits fine ( a little bit loose truth be told) so I'm going to try 2 of these together

Yes I was just asking with reference to you saying you want a 20c battery. The round ones are 15c. They will likely do fine.

Solder together and sokder on a balance lead and you are sorted.
