I'm trying to get a price and buy a bus ticket online for the BE service from Dublin Airport to Belfast.

It allows me to choose the two stops, but won't allow me to buy online. Is that normal?

Yes - you cannot purchase them online as Bus Eireann and Ulsterbus have different ticketing systems.

You can get prices here though:

Thanks for that :) I was bemused!

The problem is that there would be no way for the Ulsterbus driver to validate the code on your email through his ticket machine as Bus Eireann drivers do.

    Do they accept leap cards?

LEAP isn't valid on Expressway services.

Only PSO services in the Greater Dublin Area, Cork City & Suburban, Galway and Limerick cities.

Again, Ulsterbus is in a different country and their systems would not support LEAP.

You can buy some services in the opposite direction via the Translink website, but not for BE services.

All Aircoach services on the same route can be booked online.

Didn't even realise Aircoach had a service to Belfast and it works out much better timewise, I need to be in Belfast at 8am :D

I'll get at least a half hours more sleep with Aircoach.

    Thanks all :)
