Just looking for a bit of advice, I sowed 20 acres of mg10 moregrass grass seed in april/may 2013 it got a fair good start even though weather was hash, cut it for silage in late august then it was grazed off and on after that seemed alright although very little clover. Spring 2014 put ewes and lambs to it seemed good grass on it, after a couple of days noticed the sheep eating the ditches out of it so then they ended up in the neighbours bearing in mind they had 6 inches of grass but no way would they stay on it. So held it up for a meadow was going to cut it for silage but it seemed very strong so ended making hay out of it, it reminded me of thrashed grass there was no fine grass in it at all, it was that course you would beat an ass out of a bog hole with it, I have came to the conclusion that there was only one breed of grass seed in it if that's possible. it has carried very little sheep over this winter and is now bare to the clay. Question is what would you do with it don't really want to plough it up again, would overseeding it be any benefit, the ground was soil tested at the time and was alright, its fair good ground as well always grew good crops.. any advice most welcome......

I've a bit planted with it this few years. I let a neighbours sheep clip it first. They had no hassle with it and even try to get back in now and then. It goes stem my very fast and needs to be kept clipped regularly. It takes plenty of feeding too.
