    Hi,

We are having a civil ceremony in June on a Weds at 12. Very low key- just family and wanted to go for lunch somewhere nearby afterwards.

There will be 16 of us with 4 kids, a vegan and 4 veggies.
Ages ranging from 80 to 3.
Ideally I would like a private room so that we wouldn't have to worry about the kids bothering others. I had thought somewhere we could walk down to but thats not a dealbreaker.

I looked at L'Ecrivan but they only open Thurs and Fri.
The Chop house no private room and the veggie options are poor.
The school house have a private room but not available for lunch so it's really just a bar menu.

    Has anyone any ideas?

Guilbauds & Locks are also pretty close.
Forest Avenue is close but has an upstairs balcony rather than a private dining room.
    Dobbins is another one.

Not sure how any of them are for vegan though.

One Pico! They have a private dining room. I'm sure they will cater for a vegan if you let them know in advance.

We went to Fallon and Byrne. They now have a vegan menu too (they didnt when we were there but they cooked something up no problem)

Chapter One gave me the best dining experience ever on one of my favourite days ever, after my hard won phd graduation. If they have a private room large enough, definitely consider it.
