so here I am, 7 months into college and finally some good news to do with my grant. The appeals board overturned susi's decision to refuse me the grant on extenuating circumstances. but after checking out online and asking susi themselves there is still no clear indication that I will get my grant! has anyone been in this situation before that could shed some light on this for me?

    AFAIK,
This may only entitle you to the Maintenance part of the grant if eligible and is still based upon the reckonable household income part your application.
It may also be up to the college to waiver the fees.

In other words, your application will now be assessed in the normal manner with the exception of repeat period of study treated differently.
